Cradleflare Ember.jpg__PID:94f764b5-a147-44ee-85fb-f79733f06274

The Cradleflare Ember is a shard of the first fire kindled within the Crucible's womb--an eternal coal scraped from the bones of a dead sun-beast and sealed in emberglass. Though it no longer flames, it glows faintly, a warm pulse that never dims, even beneath the sea. Tradition holds that it was once gifted to newborns of the Firebound Tribes to protect them from frost-wraiths and soul-chill. Others say the ember is a fragment of a forgotten sun, a flame that the gods buried when they could no longer control its hunger. Held close, it brings warmth in death's shadow, but it is not safe. Fire lives in memory, and memory lives in pain.

Grants warmth in freezing or cursed conditions

May ignite in proximity to powerful magic or elemental blood

Can act as a fire strarter, but sometimes burns what the bearer loves

Flickers faster when danger nears-- a primitive alarm for those who know how to watch

Release Date: February 2026
