Meet the Team

William Robert Post

The Owner

Hello. Thanks for coming to the hardest page on this website to write. I felt that it was necessary to say a little bit about me. While there are a lot of My Action Figure Custom fans who can vouch for my brutal honesty and ethical standards, I hope this new toy line attracts new fans as well. So for what it is worth, here is the highlight reel:

I am William Robert Post. My friends call me Rob. I am the owner of Harvinger Studios, which is the creative home of Savage Crucible, My Action Figure Customs, and Collegiate Legends. I am just a regular 40 something year old American. I have lived on 3 continents, both coasts of the USA and was born in the metropolis of Manhattan......Kansas. My brother and I started our first business when I was in second grade. We harvested pecans from several willing neighbors' yards and one not so willing neighbor (#getoffmylawn). We would sell them for a couple of dollars a pound. It was always a joy to know that every time I sold a bag I could buy a new G.I. Joe. When I got a little bit older I moved up to mowing lawns to pay for my toys and Marvel comics.  I played college football for a couple of seconds. I was an Army brat that followed in his family's footsteps. I joined the Army after finishing college with a degree in Economics. I was an Arabic Linguist with a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information with Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph or TS/SCI CI Poly. After a number of years of living in "exotic" places without indoor plumbing (as a DoD contractor), I decided to obtain my MBA with a concentration in Supply Chain and Operations Management. I have spent over the last decade plus having a successful career for one of the Big "4" accounting firms in their consulting division. I like Science Fiction and Fantasy. I breed Great Danes that have found success at the highest levels of competition.

I am not sure what you will take away from the above paragraph. My hope is you find that I love comics and toys. I strive to continuously learn. I am a man of integrity, and I know how to work hard but most importantly I know how to work Smart.

Kevin Delies

Lead Sculptor & Designer

I am Kevin Delies, 47 years old, born in Germany’s beautiful Rhine Valley – a region with the highest density of castles in the world. Growing up surrounded by myths of dragons and knights, action figures and toys became my refuge in worlds of endless possibilities, sparking a lifelong passion for fantasy and action figures of all kinds.

Today I am married to my supportive wife, and together we are raising two wonderful children. Although my artistic talent was recognized early, becoming a toy designer once seemed impossible. I studied design at an applied arts college and, after many detours and years of searching for my place in the world, it was the birth of my daughter and the encouragement of my mentor, the late Mark Taylor, that finally gave me the courage to fully commit to my talent and passion. I gained experience at a 3D studio, studied Game Art and Animation, and began creating action figure add-ons as a small business. Since this was before 3D printers became affordable, I sculpted by hand in Castilene, teaching myself mold making, casting, and painting.

This path eventually led me to Rob – first through MAFC and later as part of the Savage Crucible team. Here, my role is to design and sculpt whatever is needed, along with problem-solving and the inventive engineering of features. What matters most to me, however, is expressive portraiture and the creation of characters – and it is always a great honor to bring to life figures inspired by the legendary works of giants such as Michael Moorcock or Frank Frazetta.
Each work carries the depth of my artistic journey – monsters that reflect the inner battles we fight or encounter in the outside world, and heroes that embody the hope and resilience we look up to or discover within ourselves.

Gordon Lake

Graphic Designer & 3D Sculptor

Hi folks, my name is Gordon Lake. I'm a graphic artist, designer, and contributing 3D sculptor with Savage Crucible. I was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada. I’m an '80s kid, so my brain is a melting pot of television, film, RPGs, toys, comic books, and the trauma of the relentless marketing of that time. The list of established artists who have influenced me is too long to provide here, but I think the earliest influence on my creative development was my dad. Dad made all our Halloween props. I still have my saucer sled–turned–Captain America shield. He customized action figures with me before I could do it myself. My Sectaur became Giant-Man; Mork became Ray Palmer. He made full-scale dioramas out of wood and old plumbing supplies. He could draw. He could paint. He worked with a lot of different media, and he would always help us do the same.

When I got married and moved to the U.S., space and resources were limited at first. So I adapted and began exploring digital tools. It wasn’t an easy transition from the hands-on world I grew up in, but now my environment is limited only by my storage capacity. My tools are limited only by the software I have access to and the time I can dedicate to learning it.

As I taught myself the basics of my new digital tools, tentative online conversations turned into partnerships with like-minded enthusiasts through sites like MAFC. Those partnerships evolved into the Savage Crucible team Rob has assembled today—some of the most genuinely kind, collaborative, talented, and creative people I’ve known in my life.

I’m thankful every day they let me play in their sandbox.

Matthew O'Toole

Traditional Sculptor & Concept Artist

My name is Matthew O’Toole at 53. I am the oldest and prettiest but definitely not the wisest member of Savage Crucible.

I was born in the UK, the Midlands, beautiful countryside, Grimm towns. I met and fell in love with a beautiful Cajun girl who bore me a daughter and lived in England with me for a good long while. Now, we live happily in New Orleans.

I put food on the table with my career in makeup and creature effect. I have sculpted, molded, painted, finished, hair punched, fabricated, applied prosthetic make up, glued, stitched, strapped, cable tied and gaffer taped people into creature suits and performed in creature suits myself on a few occasions. I’ve worked on big popular franchises like Harry Potter and the Hobbit but also done smaller films and TV shows like Doctor Who and dog soldiers.

With that said, my other perhaps stronger passion has always been action figures. From the earliest days of action figure customizing, I was there on the forums posting my latest creation on the Fwoosh hanging out with some of the original toy nerds. Sculpting and drawing have always been my greatest passion so I would do most of my alterations with custom sculpture, molding and casting in liquid plastic. This led to me making add-on custom kits for Masters of the Universe classics and, later, at My Action Figure Customs for Rob. Therefore, while I still work in the film industry, I now have the privilege of being on the greatest side quest of all time with some of the greatest warriors ever to pick up a plastic sword.

Stay savage, Mat

Nikki Nikole

Painter, Designer & Brand Strategy

I'm the owner of Nikki Nikole Creations—a name that reflects the fact that I go by both Nikki and Nikole. I've been customizing and collecting action figures for over a decade, combining a lifelong passion for fantasy with a deep appreciation for the natural world.

Originally from the Bay Area and now based in the mountains of Colorado, I bring a blend of science and art to the Savage Crucible team. With a background in art, biology, and herpetology, I'm especially inspired by creatures that are often overlooked or misunderstood. That fascination shows up in my work—whether in a subtle detail in a sculpt or a bold paint choice that tells a story.

Fantasy art and role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons have fueled my imagination since childhood. I'm driven by character creation, world-building, and the storytelling power of visual design. At Savage Crucible, I approach each project as a chance to infuse depth, cultural nuance, and believability into every figure.

By blending real-world inspiration with my love of fantasy, I help bring the immersive world of Savage Crucible to life—one character at a time.

Stelios Diamantopoulos

Digital Content & Promotions Director

Hey everyone, my name is Stelios Diamantopoulos. I am a culinary arts graduate having worked in the industry as well as owned my own business over the last 15 years. I am also a proud husband and father of two who happens to deeply love fantasy, toys and comics.

I guess for me it all started in the early 90s when I was at the time living in Greece. My uncle would visit me during summer time from the States, and, each time, he would bring me a variety of different comics, Toy Biz toys, and VHS tapes full of Fox Kids animated series of the time.

When I came back to the States, I immersed myself even more in video games, toys, and comics, and continued growing my love and knowledge of fantasy artists and creators. That journey eventually brought me to MAFC.

I was very impressed by the quality of the 3D prints, but what really stood out was the amount of detail in an accesory item and the expression captured in the head sculpts. It made me want to learn more and to get to know the artists behind the sculpts.

After spending time on video chats with Rob and the Savage team and getting to know everyone, I finally got to meet a big part of the team face-to-face at Toylanta in March 2022. That was also when Rob debuted the Savage Crucible line, giving us an early look at what to expect as the team prepared for the Kickstarter. During the event, I came up with the idea for the M.A.F.C. Painters Academy which was an opportunity to showcase some of the incredible sculpts M.A.F.C. had created and to demonstrate different painting and customizing techniques from various artists, including Nikki and Tim, who now paint for Savage Crucible.

As the project grew, and we shifted our focus from 3D parts to full figures, Rob gave me the honor of running the YouTube channel and creating promotional content for the line. I consider myself extremely fortunate that Rob invited me to be part of this journey, alongside the rest of the creative team and the fans who continue to help shape Savage Crucible into what it’s meant to be.

Timothy Peek

Prototype Painter & Traditional Concept Creator

I joined the My Action Figure Customs (MAFC) team in 2020 and later became part of the Harvinger Studios team in 2021. I come from doing restoration work as a profession outside of the toy industry. Painting and coming up with ideas for the Savage Crucible line has been a dream come true. I've been a toy collector for 40 years and enjoy being a part of something ground breaking and extremely creative.

Renato Guevara

Website Manager & Photographer

My name is Renato Guevara. By day, I'm a software engineer, writing and debugging lines of code to craft solutions for a variety of problems. By night, my second passion emerges: being an avid toy collector.

The journey didn’t start until January 2020, when a casual stroll through Barnes & Noble sparked a moment of nostalgia. For the first time since childhood, I saw a Donatello action figure which I later learned was an S.H. Figuarts Donatello. That moment reignited my love for toys, and the rest is history.

I explored many lines, but none came close to how special Savage Crucible has been for me. From the moment I discovered it, I could feel the passion and creativity poured into the line by such a talented group of individuals. There was no doubt in my mind that I had to support the Kickstarter. I even set my alarm for the middle of the night, woke up, and became Backer #1 ... and the dream hasn’t stopped since.

In November 2023, just a week before my birthday, Rob invited me to represent Savage Crucible at the Toy Expo in Maryland. It turned out to be the best birthday gift I could have imagined ... not only because I got to represent the team at the convention, but also because of the friendship and camaraderie I’ve shared with each member of the team.

Fast forward to today, and I’m honored to be an official member of Savage Crucible. From helping with literature editing, to assisting with the X account, to managing the website and photography for the Savage Crucible Checklist, I’m grateful for the confidence the team has placed in me to represent such a SAVAGE line.

Born and raised in Northern Virginia in the D.C. metropolitan area, I now balance my passions and career with my most important role: being a husband and a proud father to my son.

Nick Whitmore

3D Sculptor

I’m Nick. I live in England. I grew up in the woods, but now live in London. I’m an 80’s kid, lucky enough to live through one of the greatest times in toy and cartoon design, ever. I’ve always been obsessed with toys, even as a teenager, when I should have been obsessed with girls, I was still obsessed with toys. I didn’t really think making figures was a viable job until I got my mitts on Spawn figures as a teen and vividly remember holding one figure up in front of me, and thinking 'This, THIS is what I want to do. I want to make cool, gross stuff.' I spent my school years ignoring the teachers and drawing Predators and Aliens on my notebooks. I studied stop-motion animation at college, purely to spend my days making weird monsters. I dabbled a little in film and TV props after graduation, but got my big break in 2007 sculpting Lord of the Rings figurines out of wax. I moved from practical sculpting with wax and epoxy to digital in 2010. Since then I’ve been incredibly lucky to sculpt figures from some of my favourite movies, comics, and tv series, including Ghostbusters, Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Star Trek, WWE, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Carribean, Assassin's Creed, Doctor Who and all kinds of other cool stuff. I’m incredibly lucky to do what I do and am honoured to be a part of the Savage Crucible team. I honestly think it’s the coolest project I’ve ever worked on, and that’s saying something, as I sculpted a Jurassic World dinosaur and a zombie shark while I worked at LEGO.
